FASHION TREND: DENIM JUMPSUITS & OVERALLS

Denim jumpsuits and overalls would probably never go out of style, just as denim itself. Denim overalls have been trending since the 30s to present day spring collection.

It's been said that the utilitarian trend was adopted by female factory workers during World War II from their male predecessors who themselves drew inspiration from American soldiers. It also known to have been created for farmers.

The look never gets boring as so many brands keep releasing their own take of the trend. It is fun but sometimes very bold and slightly daring depending on how you style it or on your body type.

The Jumpsuit

Gwen Stefani is known to love denim jumpsuits as she has been spotted in different designs
I love the zipper details on this one

Draya Michele and Rihanna spotted rockin' a fitted jumpsuit

The great thing about the trend is that the list of styles is endless, you can have the strapless, spaghetti straps, shirt tops and more, but what remains the same is the fact that each top half stays connected to the pants at the bottom.

The Overalls

Since the trend is a boy-meet-girl-look, statement necklaces, pumps, purses and bangles are a perfect way to balance the boyish look. The best way is to choose your colors right.

Zendaya spotted here wearing denim overalls with a denim shirt accessorized with a mint colored pumps
Myleene rocks her denim overalls with a white Chanel purse and a white pumps

Throwback
The cast of the 1970s hit 'The Waltons' wore overalls as a family attire

How do you wear your Jumpsuits and Overalls?

BEYONCE MAKES MUSIC HISTORY

Two days ago, Beyonce surprised her fans (myself #1) and the music world by releasing her 5th studio album self-titled Beyoncè on iTunes consisting of 14 tracks 17 videos without promo.

The album features Jay-Z, Drake, Frank Ocean, Blue Ivy and Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi- Adichie

''I didn't want to release my music the way I've done it," said Beyoncé. "I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There's so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn't want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it's ready and from me to my fans''

"I see music," she added. "It's more than just what I hear. When I'm connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies. And they're all connected to the music."

 TRACKS

01 Pretty Hurts
02 Haunted
03 Drunk In Love [ft. Jay Z]

04 Blow
05 No Angel
06 Partition
07 Jealous
08 Rocket
09 Mine [ft. Drake]
10 XO
11 Flawless [ft. Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche]
12 Superpower [ft. Frank Ocean]
13 Heaven

14 Blue [ft. Blue Ivy]

MY FAVES:

ALL 14 but so far i'm loving Track 9, 3, 1, 6, 10, 11

"MINE" features my boo Drake who apparently wrote and produced the track alongside his boy and producer Noah '40' Shebib

The track with Jay Z "DRUNK ON LOVE" is everything,as if we hadn't had enough of ''CRAZY IN LOVE" , this is a reminder that they are still going strong, the song and video just makes you wanna have their kinda love.

''PRETTY HURTS'' is a plea for self acceptance, it's pretty intense and it does send a good message.

''PARTITION'' is such a naughty track and on "YONCE" (intro to partition;available on video) Bey spits bars like a Boss. I'm guessing Yonce might just be a fiercer Sasha Fierce.

''XO'' is such a sweet jam and is probably going to be a radio loved up anthem i suppose.

''BOW DOWN" made the album but now titled ''FLAWLESS'' and with the way it sounds now, it cannot be perceived as a brag track anymore.

''GROWN WOMAN'' is unofficially released seeing as the video made the album but not the track itself but i love the afro-beat infusion and the video is fun.

PS: There is an overdose of Beyonce's post baby body in the show stopping videos, some gym motivation i must say.

14 Songs , 17 videos released without promo and is currently number 1 on iTunes Charts in 100 countries. BEYONCE is QUEEN indeed.

I'm Done.
