I've had the dress for a while but i didn't seem to find the right occasion to wear it to, so it is still so new, it has had a comfortable space in my closet  for a while and  since i have put on weight (sigh! i hate to admit that) i'm gonna have to give it away.

Oh well, the dress is from the Pixie Lott Lipsy Collection, it has a leather and stone details and it's a size 10(UK); for all yea that love the Rock/Punk look, i'm sure you'd like this. I had to get my friend to model the dress for me cos it wouldn't look the same on a hanger.

Angela Simmons took a lot of risk with that sequin skirt and i totally love it, and as a skull prints anything lover, the T-shirt def was the first to catch my attention.

ROCKIN' TO MAROON 5

Been listening to the fourth album of one of my favorite rock band 'MAROON 5'.....I'm totally feeling the album even though it seems to be pretty much criticized already, some grade the album a C+, some say they were desperate to kick off sales as soon as they could since their track "Moves like Jagger" was such a hit.

However, It's obvious the critics are just speaking for the fans who are pretty much dissapointed to hear 12 tracks of soft ballad on this new album, it only seems as though Maroon 5 are stepping away from the rock foundation, but i totally disagree, i think music is about creativity. The slashing is meaningless especially as Maroon 5 is already a popular group known to have artistic depth and creativity.

The songs might lack edge and oomph!! but hey if it's from your fave band and they are rendering a ballad album, why not love it especially when Adam Levine's distinct and incredile voice is flowing from the radio. If i had to listen to slow songs, it would have to be this album. The lead single ''Payphone'' ft. Wiz Khalifa is the track i love the most and that already is my ringtone which would not be changed anytime soon.

I SALUTE THEM FOR APPROACHING A DIFFERENT DIRECTION...However, i look forward to jammin'' to Moves like Bob Marley, perhaps on the 5th Album, Yes? No? LOL.

OH and to all the ROCK FANS out there.. I SALUTE YOU!!!!!

While checking out em' fashion sites, i came across Snapshots of Naomi Campbell by Emma Summerton for W Magazine July 2012 Issue. Apart from the fact that i totally love Naomi and her rare poise, i was very much attracted to the wardrobe choice for the shoot,  she wore designs by Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Dolce&Gabbana, Etro and Mary Katrantzou. Looking at the ensembles you can tell how much African designs and prints has influenced International/modern designers.

Her personal life often overshadows her professional one but clearly, Naomi is still a Super Model high up there and still knows how to strike a pose.

She models a Miu Miu mohair jacket and pants plus a Bally bag and Yves Saint Laurent pumps

Wearing a Louis Vuitton acrylic and wool jacquard coat and a wool and calfskin bag

The camera loves her, here she wears an Etro embroidered wool coat and Fendi iPad case

She wears a striking Prada tricotine argyle dress in the above shot which has been paired with a Prada poplin collar shirt. with a jeweled Prada bag and Malia Mills black velvet underwear

AZTEC PRINT

Dear Diary,

Blue skies, unexpected downpour, boring times; these have been the best of the past few days with nothing abosutely new or exciting happening, just the usual. With the recent weather all i wish i could do is stay in bed, watch some movies,eat some corn and pear (yes it's that season and i'm a lover of that combo). I wish i could also sleep as much as i could and not have to worry about anything. Oh! the satisfaction i yearn for. Sigh! there must be a lot of you hankering for this too.

Humming ....*soon and very soon*.

I have been saving this Aztec print skirt to rock with a bandeau top (not the plain or regular ones) and probably a light shirt (thinking white,unbuttoned)but i decided to rock the skirt to work by using it to recreate a look in a previous post, SEE POST HERE notice the top and shoes are the same? yea! i figured it was just the perfect pair for a work/play look ,It's one of the few times i've worn bright colours to work.

               
Certainly,i have jumped on the bandwagon of Aztec print lovers and i shall be collecting more.Jadore

I started watching the series ''Missing'', i think its good. Unfortunately i don't know if it would be/has been renewed for a second season, it's annoying how those things work that's why i love proper movies.I hope everyone is doing Great.
